The Human Art And Cosmic Harmony
The artist Halkan Onuk was born in Bremen (Germany)on the 20th of november in 1968 as a son of turkish emigrants and grew up in
Gröpelingen, a working class quarter.
Halkan found his first patron in his father who early noticed the
artistic talents of his son and especially directed him towards music.
This lead him to international success with his band "Rumble Militia"
and also influenced his art-style in which he experiments with diverse
techniques and styles from the past century.
Beside cubistic appeals (Picasso quotes), the expressionistic way of
painting (the world of feelings), as well as colorful and simple pop-art
(everyday's subjects) can be found in his arts.
His treasury of arts was (and still is) created in his hometown Bremen
(Germany) in isolated but yet public places.
Most of his arts are privately owned, you can find some of the arts in
the office of Atlantic Records founder and music mogul Mr. Ahmet Ertegün
in New York (USA), at Century Media in Los Angeles (USA), in the
Gallery Artist in Istanbul (Turkey), in the German Chancellorship in
Berlin (Germany) as well as in Japan's Tradingcenter.
"Moon Art" is one branch of his work, a reminiscence to Turkey, Germany
and the United States. This triangle forms the main influence and
inspiration of Halkan´s life and art experience.
Currently he is working on sculptures and installations which ought to
fascinate the viewer not only visually but also on a sonic level.
The Human Art And Cosmic Harmony
“Atlantic Records“ in New York, im Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin,
